About Vistaaaaar

Search Everything. Discover More.

Vistaaaaar is an independent search engine that helps people discover websites, news, educational resources, government services and business information across the web. We are launching with a focus on India — indexing Indian government portals, educational institutions, news publications and businesses — while remaining fully capable of expanding to every country, region and language in the world.

Why "India-first," not "India-only"

India is home to one of the largest and fastest-growing populations of internet users in the world, and much of the web's content relevant to Indian users is under-served by generic global search. Vistaaaaar starts by prioritizing Indian relevance signals — such as .in domains, government and educational institutions, and Indian-language content — without excluding globally useful sites like Wikipedia or international documentation that Indian users regularly rely on.

How Vistaaaaar builds its index

Vistaaaaar discovers content responsibly and progressively, through seed URLs chosen by our team, sitemap submissions from website owners, direct URL submissions reviewed by moderators, and links discovered on pages we have already indexed. We do not claim to have indexed the entire internet — building a comprehensive index takes time, and we are transparent about that.

Respecting website owners

Our crawler, VistaaaaarBot, identifies itself clearly, respects robots.txt rules, honors noindex directives, applies rate limiting between requests, and never attempts to bypass logins, paywalls, CAPTCHAs or other access controls.

Our roadmap

Vistaaaaar's architecture is intentionally generic — built around countries, regions, languages and categories rather than being hard-coded to India — so that new countries can be enabled from the admin panel as our index and infrastructure grow.
